Glasses vs Contacts

You should wear whatever you are comfortable with. I used to wear contacts but switched over to glasses for around 2 years now. Only thing i noticed that people i haven't seen a while won't recognize me anymore with glasses on. But never had a negative response from a girl, hell they even say glasses look better on me. I guess it depends on what kind of model glasses you wear as well.

I would say in general all wire framed glasses are a no go. That being said I personally wear think black ray ban glasses often and I always have positive responses to them. I would say most thick black glasses are acceptable and can make You look more attractive if you find the right style.

I see men portrayed in the media as being attractive while wearing glasses fairly often and it seems like it's becoming more and more common, especially in advertising. It sounds as though you aren't to comfortable wearing your glasses and are trying to convince yourself to get contacts. Perhaps you should try getting contacts and see what people think of you while wearing glasses and while wearing contacts and see if there is a notable difference in whether people think your more attractive with or without your glasses. I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years and have worn both contacts and glasses, but prefer wearing glasses and rarely wear contacts today. Over the years I have had many compliments on how I look in my glasses and nowhere near as many while wearing contacts; this is especially true when I get new glasses and people compliment me on how good they look, but when I'm wearing contacts all people say is "what happened to your glasses?" Through my own experience I've come to the conclusion that you will be perceived as being attractive by how you carry yourself and it makes no difference if you are wearing glasses or not. If you are able to present yourself as being confident and comfortable while wearing your glasses you will be come across as attractive in the eyes of those who meet you.
