Jeez, I'm not that stupid. She was showing every sign of attraction I could hope for. She was laughing at my jokes, responding instantly when I said something, treated as a good idea that we should go on vacation together. If she wasn't down, she was doing an excellent job of faking it, for some reason.

look im not trying to be a deby downer bro im really not, but girls will do that when they are put in situations that they cant get out of (such as being in a car with a complete stranger.)
Its best not to overthink these types of things and write long reddit posts about them, there is no need to look back at the past, instead go out and talk to 5-10 girls tonight and i guarantee you, you will forget about this girl : )

You could've tried, but dont put yourself down too much. A 10 minute conversation doesnt usually turn into banging in their minivan. It can also very easily be seen as creepy putting her into that position to have you get off where shes essentially living. A number wouldve made sense to escalate in the amount of time she stayed in your area, but the fact that you were into her personality so much makes it seem like you expected a bit more? Wouldn't really be worth investing the time who's just travelling and someone youd likely never see again once she left

Thank you for your thoughts. I'm not really mad about losing this girl, she was sweet and pleasant but yes, I was never going to see her again no matter what happened and the odds of anything interesting happening were low. I was just annoyed that I dropped the ball. If she had been the Stanford-summa supermodel nymphomaniac who lived in city and wanted only me, I still would have messed this up, so I was irritated with my mistake. Better to make it now, with someone who was only mostly perfect. :-)
And yes, as we were involuntary companions, if she had shown the slightest hesitation or uncertainty about my getting off at her stop, I would have dropped the subject — if I had been quick-witted enough to get on the subject in the first place...
