I just moved to a new big city and don’t know anyone here so I’m by myself. For the last two weeks I’ve been going out by myself to meet new people, especially girls and try to get some phone numbers and just to get back in the game. My question is, I’ve never went out by myself and it seems that everyone is in a group of at least three or four, which are usually a combination of guys and girls in the group. Is there any point in trying to approach this kind of groups or should I just only try to find groups of girls only or groups of girls with less than three people and then approach them?

I guess what I’m really trying to figure out is how to go out by myself and see a large group everywhere around me and whether or not I should try to enter the group or just try to find the occasional groups of girls only, which seem very rare.
