Going out Solo

I think going out alone is essential to become really good at this. I only recently started doing it (twice night and twice day) and I am terrified.

But I feel like its something I need to do to reach a stage where I am not reliant on my wings and get me to a point where I can just go up to any girl anywhere withour having to be in "game-mode"

How many of you guys often go out solo and cope with it?

I have done it. You must find a way to integrate socially with whatever crowd is present at the venue you end up at.

Enjoy whatever the activity is there: If you're at a club, dance. Etc.
Socialize. You're going to have a difficult time if you're not finding some way to warm up. What's harder? Sitting in a corner by yourself not talking to anyone, and then mustering up to talk to a woman you might be intimidated by? Or creating a de facto homebase for yourself by finding some dudes or a mixed group of girls and guys to talk to, then bouncing between them and girls you find interesting? You're going to need to talk to strangers. No way around it. But this can be fun, if you take the right attitude.
What's the "right" attitude? Life is short and it's ridiculous. So many interesting and funny things to observe and most people are not paying attention, so if you do, simply pointing out those things to other people is offering what amounts to a valuable service.
