Good ideas for first date + advice?

Both of them are good options as long as you don't spend crazy amounts of money. A good first date is about interaction, and building rapport. You need to do something that is inexpensive, and allows you to build a connection.

Between the two listed I would say mini-golfing, it's a bit less frustrating and more fun. Afterwards I'm a big fan of getting a small treat like ice cream, or something.

Bowling isn't that good of a first date option because you get less of a chance to interact with each other. It's a game of taking turns and you only have a minute or two in between pin changes. Not conductive for conversation.

Mini golf is better since you're at least standing next to each other the whole time and a bit more isolated than bowling. Also good chance for kino.

Personally, I'm a fan of dinner and walks.
