I went to a rock show at a bar last night. I noticed a cocktail waitress that I had to communicate with. Since she was coming and going, I had to catch her on the fly, and it was loud so it was a good excuse to get close.

I motioned for her to come over, held her by the elbow, and spoke right in her ear. "Just want to say you're beautiful" Big smile and "Oh, thank you" And I let her get back to work

Since I was on the balcony I decided to wait for her at the top of the stairwell. When she noticed me she was cheesing, hard. I asked her her name, told her mine, and said I wanted to give her something. I took her hand and put my ticket stub with my number on it and told her not to misuse it.

Everything felt natural, especially touching her. And I felt strong and confident the whole time, but really how do girls respond when you give them your number? Do they like being held accountable with a man's number and thus more likely to contact him? Or does the idea of making first txt move scare them off?

Ideas/experiences are greatly appreciated.
