Been lurkin on this board for a couple weeks now, been picking up some tips and just the necessity to put myself out there to get what I want. Gradually growing my confidence. Women aren’t going to approach us generally. I’m a good looking guy, but I’ve been playing it overtly safe the past couple years and have had slim gains due to it. Always seeing women I found attractive but not making a move.

Going through this board made me ask out a woman I know mutually through friends, we were hitting it off at a party a couple weeks ago. She accepted, something came up, but we rescheduled. Also got me hitting up some women I’ve had chemistry with before in college but never escalated to meetup for drinks & lunch today. I saw a beautiful woman (9) at the mall in a store today however, and didn’t approach her. At first thinking she was in her 30’s (I’m in my mid 20’s) and just overthinking until she went to the register and left. Later realizing once she was walking to the register she wasn’t in her 30’s. But the event only made me recognize I have alot of growth and confidence building to do, and only take it more seriously and to start reading some more dense material other than reddit posts to really build myself for those types of situations.

Best of luck to everyone else on the journey. It’s not easy, but the payoff will be worth it in the end. I want this for me.
