Having a hard time letting this girl go.

Long story short:

Backgrounds. Started casual in the city I’m moving to in two months. Became serious quickly.

Great month. Incredible. Most genuine connection I’ve felt with someone. She communicated the same. It was easy.

There is zero doubt this girl was infatuated with me.

Second weekend together; vibes shifted. When I got back I got the inevitable “this went really fast. I really really like you and want to see you when you move, just go slower be casual for now.”

I responded great.

She continued communication for two weeks; nothing really changing.

Eventually last week things came to a head where she told me she needed me to “meet her in the middle.” I said I would I just needed to know what that looked like. She said “I’m trying to figure that out.”

That was our last real convo. Over a week ago. No effort from her and I have not chased.

Do I give up on this? I partly believed she was stringing me along but partly believed she was being sincere. At one point she told me she “needed to see me again to remember how she felt when she was with me”

Now she’s largely ghost.

The kicker is I’m moving to her city in 8 weeks. I would prefer however this evolves for it to be cool terms. I’m gonna need friends/ would be nice to have a slam.

Just not sure how to proceed so for now it’s silence. Would appreciate any tips.
