OK, new this to this group - using throwaway. I'm no PUA. Just tryin to get better at this stuff.

I've got a date on Wednesday with a HB6/7 that is 10 years younger than me. I've been reading some of the stuff here, but don't have a ton of time to prep. I suck at kino and escalation. Any tips on what's most important for a beginner? Best links/sites on the web for some last minute cramming before the big date?

Background: We're in the same cycling club. We live/work 45 mins apart. We were riding one day and I mentioned I go to her town for business some times and she said we should meet up some time. Last week I texted her I was in town. She said had plans that night though. No prob, I leave it.

Saturday I see her again on another ride. We chat a little but not a lot. Random topics. I tell her about a girl I was flirting with recently - not sure if this is good or bad? Afterwards, she leaves the event and texts me saying she is hungry and we should have gotten breakfast! A couple texts back and forth and i tease her for sort of blowing me off twice. She sort of apologizes to me and suggests dinner and a movie this week! I hate movies as a first date, so I suggest a ride and then dinner. So this Wednesday will be a short ride near her place. Back to her place to shower/clean up. Then out to dinner.

I actually wasn't sure if she was just being friendly and not interested in me, but now when I wrote this and re-read it, seems pretty clear to me she's interested. I guess I'm always afraid women just want to be my friend.

Also, one more quick question for the group. I've been trying to get better at this and recently was at a bar with some friends. Had a cute friend of mine tell me that she never gets asked out. Is that, or is that not a sign that she wants me to ask her out? I know, I really am pretty clueless with this stuff.
