Hi Seddit, I have been lurking for a few months but I approached someone a few days ago at a networking event.

We ended up having a fantastic chat throughout the event, and we even walked back towards her apartment after that. The conversation was smooth, there was a lot of small touches from her part and personal stories about her past. We spent maybe about 3 hours together that day.

I asked for her number before I left that day and then asked her out the next day. She replied that she couldnt make the week due to a presentation due, thats it. I then told her to just let me know when she frees up and we can arrange something.

How can I maintain the same level of attraction that we shared? Or should I just let it go and be chill? Im avoiding being needy by not saying much but there is that part of me that says I could possibly do more.
