I'm looking to some Suggestions, I guess. Maybe a nudge/boost in confidence. I'm pretty much over analytical, so I'm asking bc my mind always go to "there's a perfect way to do this" and I know that's not accurate.

I work fairly closely with this girl, she technically has superiority over me, but I have more experience. We've hung out outside of our positions with a few other people we work with. The two of us ended up getting drunk and crashing at anothr coworkers place. Since then we've talked a lot more.

I genuinely enjoy working with her and our conversations and all that, so this isn't purely about sex. I also don't want to fuck anything up bc of how closely we work together as I've put in a lot of work where we're at. Although I likely won't be there for much longer.

We generally talk through snapchat. Yesterday we had some sex talk, but in general and not directed at each other. I know that's a positive sign which is why I want to escalate. I played it cool and didn't get over invested in that convo.

Today she asked me to grab lunch with her, but I wasn't able to. I suggested we do something next weekend or during the week. Later in the night I specified Friday night, I'd cook for her and a movie to watch. She seems interested.

Should I escalate prior to meeting? Should I breach the sex talk again and make it less general? If I do that, what's a good go to for that sort of thing? When we hang out, obviously I know I need to feel out the situation, but besides not sexual touching, what sort of moves should I make?

There's two reasons I'm being anal about this. One I dont want to make our professional relationship fucked up. I don't know this girl SUPER well, but she seems laid back enough to where she's no going to bust out a crazy side (although Im expecting that to happen). I also don't want something serious, and this ties into the ties part because I don't know if she does. If I try to tell her that and that fucks stuff up.. Etc.

Also is this all rational thought in a situation like this?

PS I grew up super awkward and bloomed late so I'm just trying to safe face at the end of the day I guess. Also sorry for the long ranty post.
