So I started a new job today with a big corporation in a new office I'm unfamiliar with.

Think I was way too shy on my first day and I hardly spoke. How can I turn this over on my second day and be the chatty sociable guy that everyone wants to be with.

I'm living in a new area and am desperate to start a social circle. Any pointers?
