This is my first time posting in seddit even though I've been a lurker for a bit. I wanna stop my negative thoughts when it comes to females. See I've had a low self esteem from as long as i can remember, but i believe that it started mostly when i was in high school. I've always been rejected by females because they would tell me that i was ugly or "too skinny" for them but to be honest i never actually approached a chick that i liked, for all of the crushes that i had in hs i would usually send a friend to go for me and i would hideout somewhere until he can back with the answer. But basically with all the chicks that i liked it would be as i said, that i was too ugly or skinny.

So basically through my experiences in hs i kind of developed a inferiority complex with females. Every time i see a chick that i wanna talk to on campus or in one of my classes, i kind of psyche myself out of it because i'd think " She's too good for me, why would she wanna go out with me?" or "I don't think she would find me attractive so she'd probably reject me" so i'd just give up and soon some other dude would have already gotten her.

So basically what i'm saying is i have a low self esteem and desperately want to change this and not be a " person watching from the sideline" my whole life.

So how would i go about overcoming this complex?
