So, for some background information. I'm a military man. 23M. I've recently moved to a new duty station, and I know no one here. I've tried to use Plenty of Fish to meet women. My GF and I broke up a few months ago and I've been a little bit lonely. If you forced me to describe myself, I'd admit that I am handsome but not overly so. I'm a guy in uniform too. Thought I'd get better luck with this. Maybe im doing something wrong. Now, the problem is that I'm never sure how to get the girls attention. They often don't provide very much information about themselves to get the conversation started and the information that they do provide just makes it look like a feeble attempt at saying hello. I have yet to get any responses to my attempts after 3 months. I've tried just saying hi, asking a polite question, and complimenting in a non-creepy way. I'm out of ideas. Could use some help with this. I'm tired of being here with no one to talk to. I'm not looking for sex. I won't say no but that not my goal. Again, please help!
