If you're jealous then you feel you never "had" her emotionally so you are protective of her like she's a pile of food you're guarding.
A woman is not a pile of food. A self-confident man trusts a woman, and if she cheats she should already know he will dump her on a moments notice if she does....but she won't because her man has confidence and treats her like an adult.
