I am writing this quickly before the drunken memory slips out of my mind.

For reference, I'm UK, under 21 at student club night. I saw 2 mates, not on the dance floor, but a slightly quieter corridor. We spoke for a bit, all quite drunk. As we were speaking, a girl alone comes up to us and this is where my memory is fuzzy but I remember a few distinct things. The girl was drunk but still very much capable of handling herself, just reduced inhibitions etc. She began speaking about something I can't remember and then proceeded to rub her boobs with both hands under her top, not sexually more like "this is comfortable right now". She wasn't paying me much attention initially, zero eye contact with me, just the other two, who are about the same looks wise as me and one of them has a girlfriend.

At some point (I can't remember if I did or said anything to make this happen), she started paying me much more attention, touching me, eye contact etc. I reciprocated, of course, asked her about herself a bit. My memory is really fuzzy here but at some point, all four of us went separate ways for reasons I can't remember.

Could I have escalated with her? How?

Situations like this have been happening more frequently to me recently, I want future steps to escalate interactions where a girl may be showing interest. I'm not a frequenter to this sub but I thought this was best to go here.
