quick question guys:

As I was chatting up some girls yesterday, I inadvertently spilled some ice cream on a girl's shoe. yeah, klutzy move, I know. Up until that point, things were going smoothly (c/f, kino etc). But what to do now?

I ended up cleaning it off her shoe and then off the carpet when they pointed out ice cream spots. unfortunately, I felt that doing so made me come off as beta and I wasn't able to maintain frame that well after that.

so: other than not being a klutz next time, how to handle the situation?
