I guess every guy in the club scene at some point would have had this feeling. So i would say its normal.

If you disect the situation, It links to outcome dependency. Your expectations of pulling a girl were not met and hence you felt this way. Now imagine if you were making out with a hottie in the club and alongside see a random guy making out with a girl, how would you feel? I think you and the hottie would feel quite happy that everyone around is having a good time and your chances of scoring will only get higher.

Don't go with any expectations i.e. no outcome dependency but with the intention to have fun and a laugh. This will take the pressure off you and you'll have more fun and noticed by that hottie and a whole world of possibilities awaits.
