Use two scents that complement each other. Takes a while to figure out which goes with which, but it's the only way.

Pick two scents that work well together.

My deodorant and cologne and hairgel all work well together with my natural odor, I get complimented frequently about overall smell

If you don't do unsectned most colognes have a deodorant with the same smell, it's expensive but IMHO one probably shouldn't be wearing cologne everyday anyway

normally the deodorant isn't as strong as the cologne (USUALLY, especially if its a stick instead of spray) so it doesn't make a huge difference

They have plenty of natural unscented deodorants. My favorite is a lightly scented aloe vera based deodorant. This way if I put my arms around her or if we're in bed and I'm trying that, she'll smell that instead of sweaty pits.

Opt for a stick deodorant over a spray - the smell is typically weaker.

Alternatively, use an unscented stick deodorant and you won't have to worry about mixing smells at all.

I currently use Old Spice "Denali" stick deodorant and and a woody cologne with notes of ginger and other herbs - I get plenty of compliments from all sorts of women.
