I'm not loud in crowds, I'm kind of a private person and the conversations I have, I don't like for them to be overheard. It's one thing to have the swagger for approaching, it's another when I'm in a quiet area and the people around me are actively listening cause nothing else is going. I don't if it's stage fright or what, but my willpower to approach goes to 0 when I know someone will overhear me trying to approach and pick up a chick, like I'm already nervous about getting rejected by my target, now I gotta think about the co-worker, cashier, person in the elevator/room, etc who overhears my attempts and if it fails, makes the rejection all the worse since there was an audience.

Anyone want to chime in and talk about their own experiences having an unintended audience when trying to pick up and how/if they got over it?
