Honestly, its worth a shot imo. If she doesn't like you, no factor. Just go back to being friends and find another girl. If she does, youre in the clear. Also, try flirting a little bit and see how she responds. Should be a good indicator of wether shes into you or not

Yeah I think it's worth trying. Also if there's some formal dance coming up and you could ask her to that as an intermediary step it's an option.
