So I've always had a problem with one-itis, a.k.a. obsessing over girls. It would really mess up my game; not only by causing them to reject me, but my inner game also because I felt so depressed after (kind of a self-perpetuating cycle).
It happened really bad with this one chick for some reason. She was perfect in my eyes; an hb9 redhead who was extremely funny and smart and very kind/generous. We met through family friends, and spent some time together before going on one date. Not going to get into a long story, but after that I messed up my game and thing kinda fizzled out.
Now usually I just get upset and eventually get over it, but this girl got stuck in my head for some reason. I would find my self thinking about her months later when I was lonely (I know, pathetic, right?).
So eventually the girl's parents come over for dinner to see my parents, and she obviously isn't there. I'm chilling watching t.v. when I hear them drunkenly talk about her in another room. The mom goes on to say how she dumped someone because his dad needed surgery, and how she goes through guys all the time and has no regards for their feelings at all, and just doesn't understand general empathy towards guys.
It finally clicked. Here I was obsessing over this girl I thought was perfect, when I actually only knew her for a few hours, and she really is just some mean-spirited person who would've been a horrible gf. After that my game improved immensely because I started having abundance mentality.
