So you see an attractive girl you want to approach, but you don’t know what to say. Here are some basic tenets you should keep in mind while doing the approach:

  1. Ask her about her passions and interests. This is for two reasons. First of all, you want to find out what defines her. And second it is to get her going and spur the conversation. It also tells a lot about her and how she can hold herself. If she has no interests, she is not worth your time and effort. Two examples:

a.“Oh so you teach. Are you passionate about it?”

b. “What do you like to do for fun?”

  1. Delve into detail. If she says something, try to get her to elaborate on it. This deepens the conversation and allows for stronger bonds to be formed. Here is an example:

a. “Oh so you are a teacher. What do you teach?”

  1. Look for commonalities and similarities. Find out where she is from, what she does, if she has siblings, and any other basic facts about herself you can think of. If she has something in common with you, be sure to bring that up. People love other people who are similar to them.

  2. Be the one to end the conversation. Say something along the lines of:

a. “Well I have to go but I’d love to see you again. Would you want to get drinks sometime?”

  1. It is essential that you remember her name. When she first says it to be sure to memorize it. If you forget it midway through the conversation, ask her immediately. People savor their name, and love it more than every other name in the world.
