Went on a date with this chick. She seemed super receptive to all my flirts. Made her laugh and basically had a lot of fun. Escalated physically as well. I thought about going in for the kiss but kinda missed the moment. At the end of the date she asked for my number as we were texting on Instagram the whole time. I thought that was a positive sign at least.

After the date she starts pulling away and I immediately regret not going for the kiss that I believe would’ve been a social contract that we both like each other. We were still talking for a few weeks after that and now I see her posting stories with another guy.

I realise that it shouldn’t bother me much but I’m struggling to feel more detached in general. How do you guys recommended not getting so invested anytime soon?
