I've been reading this subreddit for a few months now and I enjoy it quite a bit. I really like the self-confidence thing, I believe this is very important. I used to have kind of low self-esteem and tons of AA, but over the years I've improved. Now I'm very confident about my worth, but I still have some amount of AA. It believe it would vanish completely, if I hadn't encountered an obstacle recently. See, I moved from Europe to the US and I'm having some hard time speaking English. In my native language I can be witty, funny, use some sophisticated language etc., but I can't do that in English... and it causes my AA levels to rise. I've already been in a few situations where I would approach in my native language, but didn't because of the language barrier. Any ideas how to overcome this?
