I could write a long ass post about all the mental tricks and such that PA often use. But I want to just go for some simple stuff to think about: Take some person on the street that you might want to ask on a date, and ask yourself what makes them interesting to you. Because it's not them falling all over you. Sure, you'd prefer someone to be all about you because it would make it a snap to get them to date you. But would you actually find it attractive if anyone suddenly started pestering you all the time because they are in love with you?
