How to keep attraction up over a distance?

So let me get this straight.

You met a good-looking girl at a bar, k closed, got her number, and then she left for Denver for a month. You could try texting and calling her a few times and gauging her interest each time you do (space it out, a few days to a week at a time.) If she seems really interested, keep doing it. If she doesn't, well, give up.

That's really all you can do. It's not like you two are great friends or anything yet. Don't get into lengthy conversations - keep it short, just to maintain your presence in her thoughts (remember: out of sight, out of mind.) Texting also shouldn't be a constant thing - read the sidebar on this if you need help.

Best case scenario, she comes back, you take her out, and things continue as they would had she never left. You'll make little to no headway in getting her more attracted while she's gone, but you seem to just want to maintain the attraction anyway, so you're on the right track.

To be honest, however, I would just drop her. You met a hot girl at a bar, kissed her and got her number. Why go through all this effort? You barely know her, she doesn't really know you, and all the effort you put in will go to naught because she's in a different state and can't reciprocate. Putting forth too much effort to keep up your connection with her will lower your value in her eyes, and by the time she gets back you could find that you've been friend-zoned from miles away.

Of course, if it's easy, keep up the communication, and return to normal game when she gets back. And DO NOT focus solely on this one chick - keep going out and approaching no matter what.

More to the point, Why keep attraction up over a distance?

I wouldn't try to keep attraction on while you are not physically close, as it is try hard and what people deep in the friendzone do... Better to just reconnect when she is back, that shows that you have many options. If you don't, then keep gaming - AFC virgins can get laid in a month.

If it is really important to you (which it should not be), ping her every so often, just to keep yourself on her social radar. Twice in a month is good.
