You should worry more about being fun and interesting in person because if you get her number in person within actually having much of a conversation then texting her will lead nowhere.

Before you ask a girl for her number you should spend 10 minutes talking to her and being fun and interesting during those 10 minutes and only then get her number.

But instead you made the mistake of going straight to her told her a compliment and got her number immediately all within a minute or so, so now there is no real reason for her to see you again, because there is no in person connection, there is nothing for her to get excited about, and you are a total stranger.

Texting her now is just unlikely it will go anywhere because every day that passes the momentum is dying. She begins to be more and more rational, which isn’t good because if you asked for her number straight away then she also never felt has time to develop any type of emotional investment. And that emotional investment is highly unlikely to be built over texts, specially if you en even have much experience with girls.

So it’s a lost cause. If i were you, I would not go for numbers next time, and focus on training your skills in person by making conversations last for 10 mins.
