TLDR- how to ask her out after so much back and forth with busy schedules?

Tried to keep it short. I’m rusty with all this.

Met a girl 2 weekends ago while at a small music event. Got her number. It was dark out, quick exchange.

We swapped instagram a day or two later and she’s really cute

Long story short, I tried to set up a date, she gave me specific days and then ended up busy on those days and I kinda crashed out on her just a little bit but made it into a joke and recovered. she tells me how work has her on a messed up schedule etc.

I knew I had messed up so I didn’t text her at all after that brief exchange and surprisingly she texted me Sunday night saying shes at the beach. It would take me an hour to get there and was 2 hours till sunset, I asked if she was staying after sunset and she said no. I said no worries she said another time then.

Next day she sends me a meme on Ig and we chat for a sec. It was late. I felt convo dying so I said have a good night talk soon etc. and never heard back.

Now Im wondering how to proceed this weekend.

For context I’m 33, she’s 30, and it’s a small town so there’s not a lot of opportunities for me to meet people and I really don’t wanna mess this up
