hopefully I'm not doing anything against the guidelines here ... I read them and nothing says that thanking the community is forbidden ... if it is then down vote if you like!

21yo virgin here and I have to say I'm moved by most posts I see here. Any random topic I see so many words of wisdom, they're simply insanely beautiful. Heard on other, obviously pathetic, subreddit that this here is a joke, but much rather than learning to be a douchebag, you learn to be confident. While sure as hell I do not consider myself confident, I do appreciate all the stuff that I read here, it's insanely inspiring for me, I really want to change something in my life, really want to go out and keep trying.

What has hindered me in the past is the fact I am 1,67CM tall, which is not really tall for a guy, and the fact that I live in a shit town, where I fear rumors of me being desperate spreading. But I don't think I should care. Tomorrow is a big party, I am going to read as much as a can here, and I'll set the goal to at least ask a couple, chat with them somehow and see how it goes for me. I actually wanted to put of picture of me here, asking you guys whether I'm able to get something done, but by just reading I realized what matters most is confidence obviously, not looks, not be a afraid to fail but embrace fail. Oh well I do not want this to be this insanely long wall of text, as this is merely a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you contributing. You're all being insanely inspiring and helpful to people like me!
