To start, I work in a fem dominated workplace. I mean minimum 85% female. So this is a conversation that I had with one of them. My goal isn't seduction at work. (Don't do that at work.) Bit always be attentive to your surroundings. New shoes, new clothes, haircut whatever. Start looking and you'll notice and give you a point to talk about.

Me = M Female = F

M - "Hey, is that a new cap? I thought you'd already got a new one a week ago?"

F - "Oh yeah I got the pair of them at the same time..."

M - I'm loving the cockatiels, it's bright and happy cheers this place up a bit.

F - She went a little flush and shy on me at this point "Haha yeah, this place is a bit stark isn't it?"

M - "You're fucking right there!"

F - "I think I like the other one better though, y'know with the avocados on it?"

^ Just there she looks at me and expects me to remember and lead me on with the fact the avocado hat is better.

M - "I like both of them to be honest with you..."

^ She was obviously a little disappointed with my choice here and starts to walk away.

M - "To be fair though, I don't know if they're comparable..."

^ She turns back to me a little puzzled. They are both very different in colour and style and we both know this.

F - "Whaaaat?" She kind of drones out

M - "Yeah. I mean, I like avocados but I've never eaten a cockateal before! So I don't know which one I like better yet!"

^ I'm smiling.

F - "Holy shit Oneaussieman! That's way to much for me hahahaha. That's fucked hahahaha."

Pay attention in your workplace to co-workers, customers, regulars on your bus route, teachers, professors. Anyone. Anywhere... Humour and observation are a man's best friend. Try it on women you find objectively ugly too even try it on men. Trying these tactics on all people will make it easier for when you do finally approach your potential mate. Practice makes perfect, practice observation and minor compliments and keep going. Even if you think this is fruitless, it's not. Haircuts, accessory items, shoes, whatever it may be this will build your social and interpersonal skills to the point you will pluck up the courage to talk to a mate with greater ease.
