So, I have the craziest deepest fear of like...a woman thinking for even a second that I might be sexually attracted to them.
What the hell is wrong with me? I’ve been married. I have no trouble being intimate with a woman. All of my problems are before the girlfriend, before the marriage (met my ex wife on the internet so that helped skipped my problem).
My problem is this insane belief that I have deep down that I cannot seem to change. That belief, basically, is that women detest men for their sexual nature. Men are potential rapists. Men are pigs. Men will do anything for pussy and men like that are bad!
Well, that seems to be what the belief is. It’s not like I want to believe this. But I just can’t shake it. It’s so deep I just can’t change it.
Other than that I’m fine. I can talk all day. I can talk to a woman anytime anywhere.....as long as I make ZERO hint that I’m into her. And if she hints that she’s into me? I instantly get awkward and full of anxiety. I shut down. I can’t control it.
The only situation that works for me, is when there’s touching. For example, I was at a party. A girl I sat next to while we played cards against humanity would brush against me. We barely talked but as the night wore on at some point we were just leaning all over eachother and I just grabbed her and pulled her in to kiss her. It was nice. I’ve had a few experiences like that. I’m ONLY comfortable with touching and in these rare bizarre circumstances.
I work with a ton of females. They flirt with me. Say sexual things to me. But I just get shy and awkward. That fear of a woman knowing I am sexually interested in her is so ridiculously bad. It’s unbelievable. I’m lucky the girls don’t find me creepy as hell. They actually like me and encourage me. They are great. But damn, the way my brain is working right now is really not helping!
Help?
