Hey, guys. Let me start off by saying this is gonna be a "help a rookie post".

I'm 17, I go to a small school. Maybe 400 kids. I dont really see the point of the dating scene but there is this girl, Diane I've had my eye on. Very attractive, and I think she's had her eye on me as well. I don't really know her, but I know a couple people in her group of friends, none very closely. Admittedly a few people in her friend circle annoy me, so there's not really an in there.

I've kept up a lot with r/socialengineering and a few posts from this subreddit as well. I would classify my approach to people as almost sociopathic in nature, very calculated. Everything is a strategy with me, and I try to use my powers of persuasion any way I can.

However, I am still a beginner and could use some pointers. Basically, I'd love some advice on how to approach this girl and where to go from there. If you want to help, fantastic. I can provide additional information as needed.
