Hello, I'm having a hard time to go past the 2nd or the 3rd date. I'm M(26), athletic, hitting the gym 4-5 times a week, got a bachelor in Finance, and working for a financial institution. I have no troubles with cold approaches no matter the environment and I have a good ratio of number close. Then I invite them for a date (1st date is always a dinner at the restaurant, not expensive and not cheap and not too romantic).

  • During 1st date I let her speak, asking open minded question to know her a little more (I can easily keep a conversation with people and my date, I'm someone who reads a lot of book, so this helps me to connect with people especially at my job) however this is never a subject during a date and I'm not rubbing authors, or quotes, so she doesn't know that I am a big reader. At the end of the date, I am paying for both, and setting the cards for a second date. (Throughout the dates I will compliment here once or twice not more.)

  • Between dates, I keep it short and sweet, few messages, a bit of humour till we get to the second date.

  • The 2nd date is an activity (Art, Movie Theater, bowling etc...)so it allow me to get a bit more physical and I usually kiss close (most of time we end up kissing like 10-15sec) at the end of the 2nd date. There is no awkward silence, or strange things that might have been said, all dates seems "great" to me, but the more dates I go on, the more I feel a disconnection, and a loss of interest (from her side) And it gets to a point where I am the one who does all the work, who calls/text her/ find activities. She answers less and less on txt or Facebook, don't call back or after few days only, and answers once after 2-3 texts. And I hate that feeling of losing the person and playing alone against the wall. So all my past dates were all failure. Basically, I end up giving 2-3 free diners.

I don't know either I am the problem, or I am approaching problematic girls who are looking for free diners and activities. I won’t lie, I usually approach cute and gorgeous girls, but not "Super Model style" - I don't over compliment them, I do basic gentlemen stuff (holding doors, giving my coat if she's cold, letting her first in the car) but the interest is just fading out as time goes by (and usually 2 dates are made within 1.5-3 weeks) so I am not extending too much, nor pushing them.
