last night, was a learning experience. I went out solo and decided I was going to mingle and meet some new people. I was talking to a group of guys, and was cat-calling women. One girl responded to me and came over and chatted with bme for a minute.

Once she left me and one of the guys started talking about how good she looked, yadda yadda yadda. Then, I see these two girls walking by us. I immediately opened them with an opener. It hooked, chatted with them. I was really into one of the girls, spanish chick, and the other girl -cute asian - was talkative at first, but I think my body language conveyed I was into the spanish girl.

So, to get her energy level back up, I brought in one of the guys I met to wing me, and help with the set, being that he was right there. I gave him an all-star type introduction. Asian chick is immediately attracted to wingman.

I'm talking to spanish-he talking to asian. And then, one of the other guys from the group comes in and now the group has become unbalanced. He comes right between me and my wing, his buddy.

Long story short, I should have managed that set better. I should have moved the group - just the four of us- to another part of the venue or changed venues completely. Instead, I made major mistakes. But I learned.
