I got picked on a decent bit in high school for being so thin. Many guys called me out for it and gave me shit for it. Graduating high school, I was still a twig. Now, fast forward to me being 22 now.

I’ve been going to gym consistently for 3 years now, and at the time being my frame is decently toned. I still see the sickly underweight in the mirror at the moment. I think everyone around me is thinking, “damn this kid has some skinny legs.” Phrases like that.

Numerous instances in the past few weeks, I’ve had people compliment me saying I’ve bulked up. I didn’t think much of it until one day at work, this super overweight guy compared my body to a very thin coworker. Basically saying I was as skinny as he was. This shed some light on my current perspective.

Anytime someone insults your appearance, it’s because they aren’t happy with theirs. Sure, some just want to make you feel bad, but most do it out of insecurity. It just goes to show most people shift their focus internal rather than external. This makes me want to approach women more now. I now know that when approaching the girl you like, chances are she’s more worried about her looks than about yours.

Once this quarantine ends, I’m putting myself out there every weekend and playing the numbers.
