So last night, I went out with a girl HB9-10 in my books, and it went great, she was literally begging me to stay, and 5-6 text asking to come back. Needless to say there will be another.

But the whole time, other guys were looking at her and one tried to get her number, which we laughed off. It got me thinking.. what the hell does she see in me?

  • I'm poor as fuck (currently -£100, not to mention my £11k student loan)

  • I don't have a job, and can't seem to get one

  • My hobbies are boring: videogames, surfing the net, films, TV. (I'm media educated, so find these things interesting)

I think if I had a job that applied to my skills I'd be a much happier man. I'm qualified for at least a £40,000 salary career, but there is nothing going in my area, so I may be settling for £12,380 (Minimum wage) using none of my knowledge talents, or skills. Which is depressing to say the least.

My hobbies though; I can't help but think I'm wasting my life sometimes. Playing video games all day isn't exactly going anywhere. I feel I should be improving myself, and going out to do things, but instead I'm sitting staring at a bunch of lights.

I should be getting paid for a freelance job soon, and was planning on spending £550 on upgrading my computer so I can play games in higher quality. Thinking about it now, what does it matter? that £550 could be spent on days out and having fun in life, maybe taking classes and improving myself as a person.

Should I be changing my life? They have been my hobbies since I was a child and I'd feel lost without them, but something's telling me maybe I should be different.

I'm a little confused right now considering what I want. Has anyone else been through this, and is there any advice you can give?
