Im a junior in High School. Need help figuring out this girl in my class. So there's a girl in my class who I've known for about a year. We weren't close at all before but since the past two weeks, but now we have started talking a lot. She is currently in a toxic relationship and always tells me...

how she wants to get out and how her boyfriend is trash and that she's going to dump him soon. Now even when I leave her on read on text, she initiates conversation. Recently, she has started telling me about a lot of things: Her relationship with her parents (which is not the greatest), her personal life(and asks me about mine too), her goals for the future, and also tells me that I should come visit her country, Japan, and she can take me around. She is even interested in visiting mine.

Even at school recently she comes and sits next to me and talks. We even joke around a lot and I make her laugh a lot too. She even drops compliments for me at times.

All this is good and all but there's one problem: When we text on DM's she takes too long to reply.

Although we do text at night for 30-45 min stretches, she literally takes too long to reply. Now, this has me really confused: Does she even like me at all?

We have exams in two days and I understand she might be busy but she is active on messenger and snap so that point doesn't really make a lot of sense.

How do I go about it and any texting tips yall have?
