There are four girls that I've met in the past two months, who I liked and marked as a potential crush. One by one, they all got a boyfriend a few weeks after I met them. I think I may be too passive. Also I may be lacking passion because the feelings I had for these girls were nothing more than a simple liking.

There could be two reasons for this;

  1. I'm afraid to let my feelings take over so I can't feel even the slightest bit of infatuation.

  2. I wasn't really attracted to them.

What I noticed was that I know from two of these girls their Romeo was someone they got excited about after he showed his affection while they already knew each other for quite some time.

Is there something to this? I mean, is it possible to fall in love only after one of the parties shows affection, instead of that mutual click after getting to know each other?
