Accept that fear. Your body has no idea what is going to happen, so it is giving you all of this extra energy, tensing your muscles, and turning on primitive brain for quick primitive fight/flight reactions. Don't make your brain think it is bad. Accept it, use it.

Hey man, if you're gut is telling you this girl is special then just go for it. You have to a least try. I know it's terrifying, but it will be ok. It sounds like she is feeling it too, so the good news is that she probably wants you to approach her, and wants you to succeed. So you just need to employ this simple outline for building some attraction.

Maintain strong eye contact. It's ok if it even gets a little uncomfortable, because that creates some tension which is key to creating attraction. Don't overdo it to the point of creeping her out. I feel like there is a very fine line between being a creep and being seductive, so you need to find that sweet spot. So, hold eye contact with her until she looks away first. Then, keep your eyes locked in position, so when she inevitably turns her head to look at you again, her eyes will meet with yours right away, which will catch her off guard a little bit and she will probably turn her head again quickly, and blush. And hopefully, smile, which is the desired outcome, naturally. This is building a foundation for attraction.

This next part is very awkward if you're new to this stuff, but it so important that you simply can't afford to leave it out, and this is physical escalation. It is necessary because it lets her know that you want to pursue something romantic/sexual with her. This is what will keep you out of the friend-zone, so you gotta touch her, in a safe, non-threatening manner of course. So here is how the basics of the interaction should play out:

Look her in the eyes, and as you say something to her, lean into her and put your hand on her shoulder, speak, then pull back to normal position and remove hand from shoulder. This method should be utilized nearly everytime you speak to her. Of course, you can't touch her shoulder every time, so this is where you escalate. You can move down just a bit to the middle of her upper arm and touch there. The elbow is a very erogenous zone that is also acceptable to touch, lightly tug or pinch. You can graze her hand, and then maybe put your hand on her mid back.

Say she reacts negatively when you put your hand on her back. Don't worry, don't stop or freak out, she is just letting you know that she isn't yet comfortable with that and this is fine. You just continue to do what she was ok with, so continue touching her shoulder, arm, etc.

What you actually say to her isn't that important. Try to be light and playful. What is more important is the way you say it. Talk to her with the inflection in your voice that you think she is sexy. That she is making you horny. Utilizing this strategy, the most mundane conversation could be making her hot for you. Good luck!
