I am in a funk right now. I think as a beginner, I had positive results initially, which gave me a huge boost of confidence. The problem is that I became dependent on that positive feedback. Because of that, I've become reaction seeking. I'm in such a bad state now that I haven't approach in over a month.
I think I'm seeing through the next level now. I think I need to break out of reaction seeking by accepting rejection as the default again, like I was when I first started. I think the next level is where you can look at rejection as amusing. You have enough experience to know that you can often turn that initial rejection into attraction. I've seen it happen before.
The new state of mind is "oh look, how cute. She is rejecting me. Let's have fun with this". This is important for several reasons:
1 - A lot of girls (especially 8,9,10s) will have rejecting the guy as their default mode. You need to accept this.
2 - Being unfazed by anything the girl does will make you more attractive to her. The bigger or more dramatic the action she does, the bigger this effect. Rejection being a big one; the effect is pretty big.
3 - It keeps you in self amusement. You are not reaction seeking. You are not value taking (you don't need something from her). You are generating value in this state of mind; making the interaction more interesting.
4 - A no big deal attitude by will make you stand out from 97% of men out there. It also communicates the idea that you have options/abundance. You have value and are not dependent on her to receive it.
There are probably more, but this is what I could think of.
God I need to break out of this. At first, I had a self image that I was a guy with no game and was trying out shit. No biggie. Now, I am thinking that I have at least a bit of game and I'm in ego protection. This has to stop now. Thanks for listening :)
there doesn't seem to be anything here
