I was watching a video of RSDTyler and noticed something he said. He said how he does gaming as part of his daily routine, and rarely goes out to game for the sake of gaming. Even when he is gaming with his friends, his priority is hanging out with his friends.

This creates a different dynamic. Every number gotten is seen as a bonus to the day, not a win. It allows for failure, as your main purpose is something else other than gaming. It is time efficient, as you get stuff done in your day while gaming.

Even if you have nothing to do, go to a coffee shop and read a book. On your walk to the coffee shop ask girls out. While at the coffee shop ask girls out. While leaving the coffee shop ask girls out.

Which brings me to my last and related point by RSDTyler: find places of abundance and anonymity. Abundance of people so you have multiple sets to approach and anonymity so you can gain practice and it doesn't matter if it doesn't work out.
