starting a conversation at the bar is simple.

i either go with a direct approach like "hi i thought you were cute, i wanted to say hi"

or ill go with something indirect, making some kind of observation about her. could literally be anything.

for example - "hey i like your shirt/jacket/shoes"

if you're brand new, id actually suggest just going with that first direct approach. you'll practice showing intent and you're much less likely to end up in boring logical conversations because if the girl isnt into you, she'll probably let you know right away since you already showed romantic interest.
