I dated my last real girlfriend for a year and a half during my last six years of college. She went far away for grad school after graduation so we broke up. Since then I've made an effort to meet a lot more girls. I worked on my inner game and got to the point where I realized I'm content without them.

I've probably met over 100 girls cuter than my ex and dated quite a few of them. However, cuteness is not equal to attractiveness and the problem is that my ex is a girl that's really attractive to me for all of her other positive qualities and even though I'm at the point where I reflexively start conversations with girls during the day (I don't night game) but none of the other cute girls I've met in the last year come close.

I thought it was my sticking points so I worked on them and I sincerely feel like I'm at the point where I'm connecting with the people around me quickly and easily. I know there's plenty more more work to do but I just can't shake the feeling that maybe I'm better off moving to her college town to share my new-found happiness with her and do what I can to make her happy as well and not worry about if it'll work or not and I'm actually in a position to do this because I have two well-paying work-remote jobs at the moment.

I'm reaching out to anybody who has been in a similar situation. If you haven't graduated college yet, then please just don't say anything. Seriously guys, reddit is a forum for ideological discussions so please stop making the comments section look like youtube. If you have nothing constructive to say just STFU.
