Back story: Saw this girl at a random Starbucks not near where I live when I had to pee. She was going out as I was going in. I couldn't remember her name or where I've met her but she looked familiar and waved as she passed me at the entrance.

I looked at her credit card receipt that was on the counter while I was asking for a restoom key. I saw her name upside down. I messed up here by being obsessed in finding out where I know her from instead of focusing on the situation at hand. I found that I met her briefly when I saw one of my acquaintances a while ago by searching her name on facebook. Thinking she had left and also extremely fixated on the phone, I left the store feeling frustrated. As I walk out, I saw her sitting on a bench near by out of the corner of my eye. It was "too late" as I already was at my car. I should've talked to her obviously but I panicked at the moment when I couldn't decide if I want to approach her knowing her name or not.

Problem: I looked her up on Facebook and saw she was the RA of one of the buildings. I just graduated but I still have friends who live at the university. Is it weird if I start hanging out with my friend who lives at that building just so I might randomly bump in to her? (We don't hangout at that building ever.)
