the idea is when you're approaching the groups except you're target . you're making yourself more desirable , and even the fat friend will give her the approval to get to know you , because without the ugly fat friend approval you're not going anywhere . so you should always make sure that you gained the group approval .

You're viewing The Game as a manual or a method. You need to remember what it actually is: an autobiographical account of one man's exploration of the seduction community and his rise to the top of it.

I love The Game. In fact, I just started reading it again last night. It's a great story and Neil is a great writer. The book was not, however, meant to teach you how to pick up girls. It leaves out a lot of things that were common community knowledge even when the events were unfolding. Even Mystery's Find-Meet-Attract-Close model is only explained in the vaguest sketch.
