“It doesn’t feel (right/congruent/natural)”
Ask yourself what it real means when people say this about socializing/game/pickup.
There are times when this is true. It may “feel” like you’re manipulating or being fake in order to achieve a desired result or close. That’s OK! Completely understandable. Know that not all of game is going to feel that way.
Now there are times where people say it and it’s BS! It “feels” wrong because it’s uncomfortable for you or it didn’t yield the result you so desperately desired or you saw in a video. That’s resistance, fear and anxiety. You’ll often hear people say “it doesn’t feel xxxxx” but secretly it’s an excuse to NOT change or NOT do the work.
Game/pickup is SUPPOSED to change (grow) you. In a good way of course.
Example: You HAD anxiety and you worked on it now you hear “wow bro! You’re confident af! How do you do that?”
Or
You HAD trouble finding conversation topics and now you’re like a stand up comedian.
All of which previously may have felt “unnatural” or not a part of who you were.
This is skill. It can be learned over time and taught. Change is supposed to be uncomfortable.
