I used to go out with my old roommate and some nights the usual bar would be slow. I would always tell him "It only takes one girl."

There can be one girl and if you are the first one to act and start talking to, then that's all that matters. It doesn't matter what the guy/girl ratio is.

There could be plenty of girls but it wouldn't matter if you don't take action. Just take action on the lone girl and you'll have a good night if she's up for talking.
