I've been a typical AFC over the years. This past Saturday, I had a girl over to watch a hockey game. We'd been texting for a couple weeks and while it seemed a foregone conclusion, nothing happened. Not even a k-close, and it wasn't for lack of effort.

But that's not the important thing.

At any point in the past few years, I'd have spent a couple weeks or maybe more beating myself up over what could have been and overanalyzing what went wrong. Now I'm not texting her, nothing. I'm moving on to the next one and trying again with my "movie" excuse again soon. Never before have I been able to drop a girl so quickly.
