I see this line used a lot as advice, but I don't quite get it. I workout, go to my job, I read, I pursue my hobbies like MTG, Tennis and Comedy, but if there's a girl I like I do text her a lot.

I'm not very successful with women so I guess I'm doing it wrong, but I don't understand the difference between investing in yourself and investing in someone else? I can't really invest in a woman's life the same way I can in mine.
